Wheels & Tyres

The top of the range Arosa 1.4 16v Sport comes with 15" five spoke alloys (used to be 14" on '01 model-see below). These wheels look pretty smart and a significant improvement on the old 14s, but some people may want to change them if they prefer another style (or just to get rid of the standards!).

There are so many available, but it is important to think about if they will suit the
car! Five spokes designs are usually a safe choice, but we all known 3-spokes are a no, no!
Experient in graphics programs such as Photoshop to get an idea of how they will look on your car.

For most people, alloys are a very important part of the car, and most will chose at least alloys as an optional extra upon purchase.
Seat only offer a maximum of 15" rims as standard, but bigger wheels can be fitted. 16" rims will fit on the Arosa fine unless it is lowered significantly.
17's have also been fitted, but this is not recommended, as the car was not designed to take wheels this big and it would undoubtably rub the arch and ruin the handling. You would have to get the arches modified.

A set of 15's should produce the best package for handling, performance and hassle free driving on all models.

The offset for the Arosa is 35/38mm, and are 4-stud with 100mm PCD, which it shares with the Lupo. It is vitally important that the wheels that you fit to your Arosa are of the correct fitment. Failure to get these correct can be highly dangerous! A good Alloy dealer should sort all this out for you.

Below are pics of three superb wheels all by OZ Racing (my preferred make as opposed to cheaper stuff like Fox) that will suit the Arosa well (in my opinion). I want 16" Hydra's by the way :)

There are so many different slightly different styles of wheels making it very difficult to decide what to go for.
I am looking to get some new wheels for my Arosa and have messed about putting a number of different wheels on my car (lowered as well in pictures) in a graphics program.

Have a look for yourself and see which you like by clicking on the example pic below:
