MY REVIEW

The following is a short review I wrote concerning my car:

Seat Arosa 1.4 16V Sport

This is my first car and I am certainly pleased with my decision. I was a little worried about the rear legroom beforehand but it seems to be surprisingly roomy all round. Anyway, I went for the 1.4 16V Sport because I am a young lad and desired a good helping of power. With 100 bhp and a 0-60 time of 9.8 sec, it is brilliant on paper for under 10 grand! I find the car is pretty quick and fun to drive, but it cannot quite compete with the best sporty hatchbacks (for example I have driven a Citroen Saxo VTS & Ford Fiesta Zetec S).The build quality is significantly better than most rivals' (I feel sorry for Saxo fans-lol). The interior is solid and stylish, while the sports seats up front look great in red and black and are comfortable and supportive.

I am disappointed a CD player is not fitted as standard, though. The speakers are fine, but relatively high volumes cause quite a lot of vibrations in the doors.I have to say that it looks superb in black, even if it is hard to keep clean - it's worth it! Even the person behind the counter at my local petrol station commented on its smart and sporty looks. Plus I haven't seen another like mine, which is good - they seem to be quite rare. The front looks aggressive, with its twin headlights and front foglights. The stainless-steel, centre-exit exhaust looks great on the wide rear end and the funky light arrangement looks very smart. It may look like a VW Lupo from the back and sides, but the front, to me, looks a lot better. I reckon the Lupo is a bit 'girly' - except the GTI, of course. It should be safe and secure also, including four airbags and an alarm as standard. I would certainly recommend this quality, good-looking, sporty little car to the young.
