www.advancedautosport.com 195/45/16's do fit on the Arosa (even if you lower it at a later date), 205/45/16's were tested on my car but they would rub on full lock so 195/45/16's went on. Yep, will have quite a nasty effect on the handling. Lots of extra unsprung weight. Although on the GTi, 17's fit without any arch work... 16's, or better still, sticking with 15's would be the best. Fitting lighter ones like the Superleggera's which reduce unsprug weight even more would be a much better prospect. But for balancing looks and handling, 16's do the trick and still look damn good. i had my front and rear valences sprayed body coloured about a month ago and paid £160 to have it done by Richardsons of Wellington. they did a fine job and it makes the car look far better than having it standard plastic. On mine, I had to lift off the gaiter with the surround, get a screwdriver and bash it into the triangular clip thing until it was loose enough and then pull the kn0b off! another tip for you, when you put your new gear knob on chop the gear stick down underneath. The Arosa gerbox feels so much better with a shorter shift stick http://www.venommotorsport.com/venom/lighting/vw/lupo.htm 9s 0-60mph Eibach lowering springs are reknowned for the extra comfort compared to others My Arosa has -40mm G-max (beware) springs and shocks and I have no complaints so far. Spax do 40mm springs as well, but at present only make front shocks for the Arosa (although they are fully adjustable). You can purchase these sets at all good stockists (Ripspeed, Demon Tweaks etc). Also try www.needforspeed.co.uk for a set of Pi springs. got H&R springs fitted to mine -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This will make absolutely no difference. What acts as sound deadening is the air box itself, so if you leave it intact, the sound will remain the same. As for sucking hot air from the engine compartment, let me tell you something : You will probably never be able to tell the difference !! The only time the air in the engine bay is hot enough for there to be any power loss is when the car it at a stand still (not a very important time to have extra power then ). As soon as the car gets moving, fresh air cools the bay and so no power loss !! Stories about loss of power were invented by makers of cold air feeds IMO. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i only ever get 200 max out of my tank its a pity its so small Got dad 2 fit my induction kit 2day. It is a Pipercross one, part number PK049, £75 (about). Took out 4 drive 2nite- sounds so good-louder roar in every gear than I imagined. So much better than b4- feels bit quicker 2. Really happy with it. Highly recommend it! Gets more attention now-hehe! Luks good in engine bay as well- no more XXXXty plastic everywhere. Changing side repeaters-i changed mine and all i did was to put full lock on and unscrew the arch liner and had full access to fit them without damaging anything Hi there, Try (assuming u have a mk2 Arosa): http://www.ms-design.com/carx1ms1_1...&cty=at&car=261 http://www.dietrich-tuning.de/frame...po&subpage=lupo http://www.lester.it/uk/catalogo_ma...ROSA&marca=SEAT http://www.abtsportsline.co.uk/ MaTT Not sure if any of u remember but in Feb. the protective paint cover/finish on one of my rear alloys was badly flaking off (nowt i had done either & only got car in Oct. as new!). I took it to my local dealer and they sorted it out (free as car is still under warranty) & fine still. BUT the other rear alloy is beginning to have similar problems!! I am pretty annoyed at that. Anyone else has these sort of problems. I suppose av 2 take 2 dealer again Could end up happening to all wheels but bet they won't replace all wheels like they should! Would just get sum nice new wheels but too much for me at the moment. ok i have had my full stainless on for about 4 weeks now and its sending me round the twist it looks great but it sounds terrible you can hear it from miles away and with it being a diesel it sounds like a tractor so not sure what to do should i A) put up with it for the power gain (about 6bhp) B) put the original exhaust back on and have silence again C) Just get a back box so it looks well but no major performance gains ive fitted some momo pedals on my rossa it involved removing the rubber pedals drilling holes and fitting the new ones. it took about 3 hours because they are really figity and there is not much room to work in and it is hard to get them straight but they look the nuts when there fitted!
